Advanced early years special educational needs coordinator training
This advanced Early Years SENCo training is for experienced SENCos who are a Level 3 practitioner working in a private, voluntary and independent (PVI) setting. It is also relevant to experienced childminders.
This course provides the next level of training for the Early Years SENCo and Childminder. Delegates will have already attended the one-day SENCo course and are now ready to enhance their skills and knowledge to support children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) and their families.
Practitioners will explore ways to further develop their good EYFS practice to enhance the learning of children with SEND.
This full day course will help you to:
- to identify vulnerable groups of children and children at risk of delay
- confidently assess and plan timely interventions to meet identified needs
- understand children with complex learning and medical needs
Review partnership working and key-working for families with your wider team.
