Emporium has been in existence for some considerable years, including under its previous title of Treasure Chest. Over its lifetime it has been funded at least in part by both Kent County Council and/or The Education People, with that funding being supplemented by provider subscriptions and (at times) other funding sources. In this context, and in the current financial climate, a decision has needed to be taken to close it, with immediate effect.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Emporium customers for their custom, support and feedback over the 23 years of being operational. Without you the service wouldn’t have evolved into the one that was provided.
