Whole school training - online safety
It is the responsibility of the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) to ensure all new and existing staff are appropriately trained in their safeguarding responsibilities, including those identified in Keeping Children Safe in Education which states that all staff should receive online safety training as part of their induction and as part of regular child protection training updates.
Kent Safeguarding Children Multi-Agency Partnership (KSCMP) stipulate that this training is updated every three years and Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) requires staff to receive at least annual updates.
Bespoke online safety training for whole staff groups can be commissioned from the Education Safeguarding Service.
