Senior Leaders: Understanding School Finance

Brief overview

As an existing or new Senior Leader in a school, this is an opportunity to develop strategic leadership skills around financial management.

The day session covers:

• financial leadership
• financial management and accountability
• budget planning
• procurement
• budget monitoring
• benchmarking and fraud prevention.

A consultant Headteacher leads the sessions and brings a wealth of experience to the training.  There will be guest speakers on funding and counter fraud.

Delegates will have the opportunity to network with colleagues and exchange good practice.
