New to EYFS - Getting Ready for a Year in Reception (2 sessions)

Brief Overview

This course is run over two x 3 hour sessions and explores the cycle of observation, assessment and planning in the EYFS.  This course is in line with the EYFS statutory framework and also looks at the enviormnet, routines and phonics in Year R.

This course is suitable for Reception and Nursery Class teachers who are new to the EYFS and for those who are reviewing their observation, assessment and planning.

This course is not suitable for support staff.

Learning Outcomes

Teachers to be confident to teach in the EYFS and have an understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework and Guidance documentation.
