Leading the EYFS in Schools

Brief Overview

This is a course targeted for EYFS leaders and members of the Senior Leadership Team to support their role in leading and supporting this Key Stage. (Not suitable for Support Staff)

Delegates are required to have access to Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework during the session.


Learning Outcomes

  • The session will support delegates in establishing 'What good to outstanding practice looks like in the EYFS", and how to monitor effectively.
  • To know the current key documentation well, including what it means to be "Ofsted ready".
  • To have an understanding of Transition in to Key Stage 1/school readiness.
