Early Years Conference: Primed for Life

Brief Overview

The conference will include 4 inspirational keynote speakers:

Felicity Dewsbery - Deputy Head of Pen Green Centre for Children and their Families. Helen has been working in the field of Early Years for 32 years in various roles. She has two master’s from two different disciplines, both of which have deepened her theoretical underpinning to support her to work and lead within Early Years.

Felicitys key note: PSED - The Cornerstone of the Curriculum. 

Helen Battelley - an internationally renowned consultant, trainer, author and speaker in Physical activity/movement in Early and Primary Education with an MA in Early Childhood Physical Activity. Her training style is energetic, passionate and highly motivational. 

Helens key note: Understanding the importance and impact movement has on Early Education -Early years theory and practical seminar focusing on how movement supports all areas of learning.

There will also be key notes from Dr Sandra Mathers - Departmental Lecturer and Senior Researcher, University of Oxford as well as a closing key note from an Ofsted representative.

Delegates will have the opportunity to attend 2 interactive and practical workshops through out the course of the day, as well as have the opportunity to network with colleagues.
