Identifying, assessing and supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs can be a challenge. It continues to be vital that schools have positive and proactive approaches in place to support, include and enable progress for young people who struggle in this area.
This course will explore the mainstream core standards for SEMH need and effective strategies SENCOs can use to support staff and children. We will look at whole school approaches, interventions and explore 1:1 support.
