Are you confident in supporting children who are learning English as an additional Language (EAL)?
A child’s home language is a fundamental aspect of their personal and cultural identity. This training course will develop your knowledge of how to offer appropriate support to bilingual learners and their families.
It will provide you with information about accessing useful resources to support families and children and will explain effective strategies which support children to become confident communicators and access all learning opportunities.
What delegates have said
"It reassures us that in the setting we have already implemented the advice that was suggested. Also new suggestions of strategies will be discussed with my manager and team to discuss if we will introduce this into our setting." Claire, Boughton Monchelsea Playgroup.
