A fantastic opportunity for Primary and Secondary teachers in the early stages of their career to access workshops focusing on our theme of 'What Next in your Teaching Career?' This is particularly relevant for ECTs in year 2 of their induction period and teachers up to 5 years from completing induction. Delegates will have the opportunity to attend all workshops during the course of the day as well as hearing from our closing key speaker.

Workshop two: The Importance of Inclusion – Making a Difference: Could this be you? with Angela Harding
Angela’s teaching career has been heavily focussed on special education and on leading inclusion in several schools across Kent. In this workshop, Angela will share why working in special education is such a rewarding career path and will draw on her extensive experience ensuring to include anecdotes from her teaching journey. Making a difference for the children and parents/carers has become a motto for Angela in the work that she does and through the training that she now delivers. Workshop three: Finding your Routes / Roots with Laura Saunders
We need to think creatively about the routes we take in our educator careers, and how they serve our own roots and values in order for us to serve our communities well. In this session, we consider the traditional and often expected route, but you are also invited to explore your own roots and how they might influence a different (and less expected!) route as an educator.

Mark has over twenty years teaching experience (ten of which have been in senior leadership roles) and so he is fully aware of the need to streamline processes and procedures. Mark has a passion for working with technology and is an advocate for using it as an enabler and support tool. It should make life easier for you and your school, not harder! Join Mark for some quick tips and tools to help teachers save time and streamline their workflows. This will then improve collaboration and reduce valuable planning time.
