Developing Effective Reasoning in KS1

Brief Overview

There is a reason that reasoning is one of the three main aims of the National Curriculum for Primary Maths and this course will look at why this is. Delegates will develop an understanding of a range of simple strategies for encouraging and deepening reasoning amongst pupils besides exploring ways to adapt existing materials and locate high-quality resources to embed reasoning through maths learning.
