Creating an Inclusive Culture

Audience: Primary and Secondary

*** Introductory Offer £40 ***

Creating an Inclusive Culture E-learning - is currently on an introductory offer for just £40!

This E-learning course explores the context for the Ordinarily Available Provision and its relevance within the current climate. It builds on national best practice, including Portsmouth City Council’s work cited in the DfE's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Alternative Provision (AP) Improvement Plan, and Kent County Council's Special Educational Needs Mainstream Core Standards.

The course will ensure that schools understand that they have a responsibility to deliver a SEND-centred approach, including how Ordinarily Available Provision and High-quality Inclusive Teaching are part of the continuum of support to meet the needs of pupils with SEND and creating a school ethos of Inclusion by Design.

This course will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete. It is not designed to be completed in one sitting. We would highly recommend completing the training in units, allowing for some reflection time.

Creating an Inclusive Culture E-learning has been created for primary and secondary schools outside of Kent. If you are a Kent school please visit The Mainstream Core Standards - The Pathway to Inclusion.
