An Introduction to Supported Employment and Job Coaching

Written by the winners of BASE (British Association for Supported Employment) Team of the Year 2018 - Kent Supported Employment and features BASE Practitioner of the Year Mitch Mitchell in a few of the videos.

This has been developed from Kent Supported Employments full 1 day training module and will give the learner knowledge of the Supported Employment model and its ethos, it looks at how to job coach a client in the workplace giving practical advice that is proven to work.

What you, the learner can gain from this E-learning course:

  • Understand how supported employment can benefit your students find sustainable employment
  • Recognise the 12 values of Supported Employment and how they can be applied
  • Embed and recognise the role of a job coach with both the students and employer.

This module should take approximately one hour to complete.
