Getting to Know Your Early Years Best Practice Guidance (BPG) E-learning
This E-learning course has been designed to provide an informative introduction to the Best Practice Guidance document for everyone in the early years and childcare workforce. With a simple overview of the guidance, its contents and how it can be used, along with links to corresponding BPG audits.
This is a valuable course to support both new staff members and those wishing to upskill themselves in how best to use the guidance in order to support inclusive practice and individual children or groups of children.
The term setting is used throughout the training and BPG document to refer to all practitioners working with early years children including private, voluntary and independent providers, maintained nurseries in schools, childminders and play workers. The term parent refers to all parents/carers and families with parental responsibility. The course may also be of interest to parents and professionals working in the early years sector.
