Knowledge Organisers are readily available to download but this webinar will focus on ensuring that teachers know how to use them effectively for maximum impact on fluency within the classroom.
This 60 minute recorded webinar session, along with the accompanying guidance resource, will explore the fundamental principles of Knowledge Organisers and how best to create and use them. There is also a focus on the best practice in supporting pupils organising knowledge as well ideas to support retrieval practice with strategies that can be used every day.
Objectives:
- identify the main features of knowledge organisers and how they should be used to support pupils learning
- recognise the importance of fluency and how we can support pupils through Knowledge Organisers
- understand the purpose of organising knowledge and give guidance to retrieval practice strategies within the classroom.
