We rely on and support the deployment of highly effective headteachers and leaders of education to work with other schools to aid their improvement and build leadership capacity. These highly effective headteachers and principals, as system leaders, build greater resilience into the system, through the broader exchange of knowledge, skills, expertise and capacity, with the strongest schools supporting others while also benefiting themselves from collaboration with other schools.
