What are Term-time Regular Activity Sessions?

Bewl Water Outdoor Centre is available to schools and groups throughout the year. After-school and term time sessions are available to offer a different time frame from the intense full day training courses.

Sessions can be adapted to suit your preferred outcomes – whether that is purely fun and games that builds confidence and new skills or an NGB qualification in sailing, windsurfing, paddling or powerboats.

What Activities are Available?

A six week multi-activity block can include:

  • climbing
  • sailing
  • archery
  • stand up paddle boarding
  • kayaking or canoeing
  • trail riding
  • windsurfing
  • axe throwing
  • bushcraft.

National Governing Body Courses

National Governing Body (NGB) Courses available are:

  • RYA National sailing Scheme Stages 1-4
  • RYA Windsurfing scheme Level 1-4
  • British Canoe GO Scheme.

Time scales for completion of NGB courses may vary and depend on abilities – and group size may affect availability.

The skills built during these courses can also go towards a students Duke of Edinburgh awards scheme or can be linked to the curriculum if necessary.
