The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) was founded in the UK in 1956 by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. It is a prestigious and internationally recognised youth development programme designed to help young people build confidence, resilience, and essential skills for life.
The DofE is open to anyone aged 14 to 24 years of age, and provides a framework for young people to challenge themselves, explore new interests, and make a positive impact in their communities. The Award consists of a wide range of activities, from outdoor expeditions and adventure training to volunteering, skill-building, and physical development.
The DofE Award is an amazing opportunity for young people to challenge themselves, gain valuable experience, and stand out in the future.
As an Approved Activity Provider with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, we are super excited to be able to offer young people the chance to undertake the Expedition and Residentials sections of their awards with us.
We can offer Expeditions and Residentials for individuals as well as schools/groups – please see below for further information. We are currently accepting bookings for events in 2025 and 2026.
So what are you waiting for, start your DofE journey today!
