Ground Rules for virtual training

To help you keep training productive and enjoyed by all please read and follow these simple virtual meeting etiquette rules and tips.

  1. Be on time - please ensure that you join the training promptly. Often trainers are running to tight timescales and have a schedule for the day, plus it can be distracting to others if someone joins late. We understand that things happen, and life gets in the way so please keep the trainer informed if you are running late.
When you join training, introduce yourself and say hi – just make sure not to interrupt someone mid-sentence. You can always do a virtual hands up sign to speak to the trainer if required.
  2. Please dress appropriately.
  3. Mute your microphone when you’re not talking this stops an echo forming in the virtual room.
  4. No food please. Try to have breakfast or eat a snack before not during your training.
  5. Stay seated and stay present. Trainers work hard to deliver your training and we would not want you to miss out on key information.
