Childcare Assistant/Meal Supervisor - TN11 0DU

Responsibilities:

Hours: 2pm - 6pm Monday - Friday

- Arrive at 2pm each day to organise the evening meal
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as nappies and potty training
- Monitor children's behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space.

Skills:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviour's with empathy
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure the safety of all children under your care.

Note: CPR and First Aid certification may be required or preferred for this position.
