The Education People Show is back this November. It's Kent's leading event for learning, teaching and effective school management, taking place on Thursday 10 November. With interactive workshops, inspirational keynotes and expert exhibitors, it's not to be missed.
We’re excited to welcome our various exhibitors and delegates through the doors. Whether it's your first time at the show or you have some questions about the event, this guide is here to help you.

Is there food at the show? >>
The Education People show provides delegates with free breakfast (served in the the opening keynote room - first come first served), free lunch and free tea and coffee throughout the day.
Is there parking at the event? >>
Yes, the Kent Event Centre provides free parking all day long.
Does the event have disabled access? >>
There is step-free access available to all areas of the event. Disabled parking spaces are available upon request, please contact Emma Turley to arrange.
Where do I go when I arrive? >>
As you enter The Kent Event Centre Showground, follow The Education People Show signage to the venue. The Show is in the Maidstone Hall.
Is there space for networking? >>
Yes, during registration, before the opening keynote, and during the lunch break. However, you're also welcome to network throughout the day during the breaks between keynote sessions.
We also have a dedicated networking session - in the Detling room from 12:15 - 12:55 (Connecting the Kent Classroom Community).
How do I register? >>
Head over to The Education People Show's website.
It's best to register before the event to ensure your lunch is secured and you can book into the sessions you'd like to attend. However, there is the option to register on the day.
What time does the event start and finish? >>
The event opens at 8.30 am for registration and networking. The keynote speakers and workshops start at 9.15am. The last keynote ends at 3.55pm.
Can I bring a colleague? >>
Yes, you're welcome to bring colleagues with you but they'll need to register individually.
Is there free wi-fi? >>
Yes, but only for browsing (not downloading).
Will speaker presentations be available after the event? >>
Yes, after the event we will email a link to the feedback form. Once completed, delegates will receive a link with access to slides.
Note: the sharing of slides is at the speakers' discretion.
Will there be signposts to the show? >>
Yes, we will have AA signposts to the event from junction 7 on the M20. Please check your route before leaving as there are roadworks at the top of Detling Hill/M2 area.
