DofE Award

The Education People is now offering the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE)

We are thrilled to announce that The Education People is now an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE)! This means we can support young people in completing the Expedition and Residential sections of their DofE journey, helping them develop key life skills along the way.

What is the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award?

Founded in 1956 by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the DofE Award is an internationally recognised youth development programme. Open to anyone aged 14 to 24, it encourages young people to challenge themselves, build resilience, gain confidence, and make a positive impact on their communities. The programme consists of several elements, including outdoor expeditions, adventure training, volunteering, skill-building, and physical development.

How can The Education People help?

As an Approved Activity Provider, we are delighted to offer both Expeditions and Residentials to individuals and schools/groups. Whether you are just starting your DofE journey or looking to complete your award, we have tailored opportunities to support you.

We are currently accepting bookings for events in 2025 and 2026, so now is the perfect time to get involved!
