Foundation First Aid Training for KCC Foster Carers

Brief overview

One in three dads and one in five mums have been in an emergency situation when they did not know how to help their child. Trying to ensure a child’s safety is a big responsibility and this three hour course is designed to provide hands-on practical training and build confidence in your own abilities.  This course will provide foster carers hands on practical training of management of an incident, building confidence in your own abilities, recovery position, CPR and diagnosis and treatment of bleeding, burns and choking.
