Funding for National Professional Qualifications Training
The Education People are excited to announce that we will be delivering NPQs across Kent in partnership with Best Practice Network for Autumn 2024. In particular, we are thrilled to introduce the NPQ for SENCOs – empowering SENCO leadership!
To have the best chance of a fully funded place on an NPQ programme for Autumn 2024, apply before 30 June 2024.
Scholarship Funding Eligibility
For the Autumn 2024 cohort there has been a change to DfE funding and scholarships are limited to a number of funded spaces nationwide.
- All maintained schools in England are eligible for limited scholarships for NPQ for SENCOs, NPQH and EHCO.
- Only the top 50% of maintained schools in England with the highest percentage of pupil premium enrolments are eligible for limited scholarships for NPQLT, NPQLBC, NPQLTD, NPQLL, NPQEYL, NPQSL, NPQEL.
*The option for schools to self-fund any of the above NPQs is also available as well as our dual qualification Leaders Apprenticeships with NPQs, which can be funded through the Apprenticeship Levy.
