Vocational Profiling

Audience: Secondary, Higher Education, Business
Single session
  • 18 +
  • Key Stage 5

Brief Overview

This course is an essential tool for assessing those individuals who may have been previously labelled as “not ready for work”. The Vocational Profile is one of the vital and pivotal stages of the Supported Employment process and focuses on what the jobseeker can do, rather than what they cannot. The course will empower practitioners to ensure that the individuals are assessed in a holistic way, using a range of tools, that will allow strong job matching and ongoing support.

As well as being for schools who have Job coaches and those that offer 'Supported Internships' or support during work experience, the course is also useful to non-educational bodies - anyone providing person-centred support to empower individuals on their employment journey.
