Brief overview

This course will explore the mainstream core standards for C&I and focus on effective strategies SENCOs can use to support staff and children. We will look at whole school approaches, interventions and share current good practice.

Learning outcomes

  • Build on knowledge and understanding of what effective strategies can be used to support children with communication and interaction needs.
  • Reflect on and discuss current good practice in school.
  • Explore how progress can be measured against starting points.
