Brief Overview

This course will explore the mainstream core standards for C and L and focus on effective strategies that SENCOs can use to support staff and children. We will look at whole school approaches, interventions and share current good practice.

  • Build on knowledge and understanding of what effective strategies can be used to support children with cognition and learning needs.
  • Reflect on and discuss current good practice in school.
