Key Stage Two Moderator Training

Brief Overview
This full-day workshop will prepare delegates to successfully lead end of KS2 moderation meetings within their own settings or as a county moderator across other settings.
The training will be based on the 2023-24 STA assessment guidance and materials.
Those that complete this training course are invited to take the STA assessment and apply to be a county moderator.
Learning Outcomes
- To develop a deeper understanding of the TA framework and how it should be applied during the assessment of writing.
- To practise applying elements of the framework to pupils’ work.
- To develop confidence in assessing work accurately.
- To explore best practice when leading a moderation session with a teacher or group of teachers.
