Introduction to School Finances Days 1 to 3

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the sessions the delegates will be able to

• use the KCC Financial Controls and the Schools’ own Finance Policy as reference documents
• contact the appropriate Schools Financial Services team for support
• highlight the key aspects of the school funding
• explain the processes that need to be carried out in order to provide the school with effective ongoing financial support to include monthly reporting
• play an important role in ensuring that schools are financially well managed

Delegates are required to

• download, print and read various documents pertinent to the course prior to attending  Day 1. A document will be provided to delegates upon allocation of a space.  It is imperative that delegates complete this document as this will support and enhance their learning experience  
• bring all completed documentation on Day 1
• bring along a copy of their Schools Finance Policy and any documentation gathered as part of the pre-requisite work.
