Curriculum Conference 2025 - Impact Matters!

Audience: Primary
Single session
  • Key Stage 1
  • Key Stage 2

Brief Overview

Closing learning gaps across the curriculum

This year's curriculum conference promises to be a fantastic day, highlighting inspiring and exciting classroom practice.

As Martin Oliver, Ofsted's chief inspector, recently reminded us, the impact of our curriculum and its outcomes for pupils matters greatly.  In order to ensure that the curriculum has impact on ALL pupils, educators need to know precisely what pupils know, the gaps that exist and the best ways of closing these gaps.  This year's curriculum conference addresses precisely this.

Claire Gadsby, our keynote speaker, is renowned for providing concrete, practical strategies, and resources that teachers can use immediately back in the classroom.  Focussed on areas which schools and Ofsted highlight as the main barriers to closing these learning gaps, the morning keynote and afternoon workshop sessions will centre on:

  • low preparation but high impact strategies for precise teaching and assessment
  • building oracy and word-wealth
  • how to impact executive function in the classroom
  • optimising the impact of high quality intervention.

Suitable for school leaders, teachers and teaching assistants, we look forward to seeing you there.
