As an Early Years SENCO/Inclusion Lead are you looking to further develop your skills, knowledge and confidence? What qualities make an exceptional SENCO? Over the 2 sessions, this training provides the opportunity to reflect on your role as a leader in your setting and how you nurture a whole team approach, to providing high quality inclusive provision for all children and their families. Emotional intelligence, strengthening partnership working with families, planning support for children with complex needs, and a celebratory approach to assessment will all be explored.
PLEASE NOTE – To enrol on this course, delegates should have already completed The Education People "Early Years SENCO/ Inclusion Lead training", as this is the advanced level course.
What delegates have said
Delegate more tasks and ideas to the rest of the team to support them. Support staff to support children themselves before coming to the sen team as there may be other reasons they are presenting with difficulties. Molly, Fleet Day Nursery.
