English and Maths Support

The objectives for these sessions are:

  • To examine what the guidance says and understand the requirement for schools during the current lockdown and to explore the evidence for 'best practice' in remote learning and education.
  • To share examples of 'best practice' in action and consider how you could use these in your own contexts; to continue to learn and to have an opportunity to ask questions regarding next steps and find ways to access further support to provide the best opportunities for your students.

Maths Network Meetings aim to gather teachers across the South East to discuss pertinent topics and seek to share solutions and ideas to improve maths outcomes.

In this session we will explore teacher assessment during remote learning and also ideas of what feedback might look like.

We also will do a short deep dive into prime factors and their uses across the curriculum. Come prepared to share ideas and be involved in thinking about some maths too.
