Workshops and resources have been created by our experts using their knowledge and extensive experience in the education sector.

Edward is a really engaging speaker and, as an experience teacher himself, has an excellent classroom presence when delivering the careers related sessions. Edward is able to engage and connect with students and the feedback from students. So far, I have used Edward for delivering sessions for Year 10 students - as he has been able to come in for a series of RISE days, this means that he can deliver a sequence of sessions which build on each other. Another benefit to Edward coming in for multiple RISE days is that he has been able to build a rapport with students (who remember him by name!) - this is very rare for external speakers. Students sometimes complain that in schools, there isn’t enough content that will directly benefit them practically - Edward is able to fill this gap by delivering sessions on topics ranging from CV writing to apprenticeships. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Edward if you are looking to increase student engagement with careers.
We have always found Ed's sessions to be engaging and interactive with our learners. Ed works with learners and makes it relatable to them, delivering his workshops in both an informative and imaginative way. The CV and interview practice workshops really allowed learners to reflect and develop upon their thinking. The Labour Market Index workshop showed learners what jobs were out there and what was achievable in real time to them.
I like how the session was fun and was engaging for me, it was great having a session that was interactive
