Primary Core Support Package 2024-25

This package will ensure you remain up to date with statutory guidance, key issues and any amendments to the Key Inspection Framework and government strategies.

Following numerous requests and feedback from primary schools this package has been developed by our primary school improvement experts.

The Primary Core Support Package will keep you up to date with statutory guidance and expectations, key issues as well as any amendments to the Key Inspection Framework and government strategy. It will also support senior subject leaders within their role, as well as giving the school access to Family Fischer Trusts (FFT) and a host of training opportunities as part of the FFT subscription.

Access to this package will be as an annual subscription and will commence on 1 September 2024.

The FFT subscription provides key target setting and self-evaluation information using the latest curriculum and accountability measures - ideal for in-depth planning analysis and preparation for Ofsted Inspections, it enables school leaders to set predictions and targets in line with similar schools. It is particularly strong at supporting analysis of pupil grounds compared to similar schools.

A variety of training will be made available to you throughout the year.

Termly written briefing papers aimed at headteachers and senior leaders. Taking the key messages from the subject leader briefings and ensuring senior leaders are informed of the current issues, initiatives and Ofsted thinking around English. This will be produced in addition to the English curriculum network meetings.

A termly summary of the DFE and government briefings over the term.

An opportunity to keep your school up to date with all EYFS updates. Each termly session will also focus on key issues providing high quality CPD and support through themed keynote delivery whilst also allowing for questions and participation throughout.

Aimed at headteachers this briefing will feedback on current implementation and interpretation of the Education Inspection Handbook including themes and trends of inspections both in Kent and Nationally. The sessions provide the opportunity to discuss trip hazards and strategies to support leaders through inspection and any changes between the network meetings.

Created by our expert school improvement advisers, this comprehensive downloadable resource is an extremely detailed document which prepares the busy school leader in preparation of their Ofsted visit. It has been written and created in line with the Schools Inspection Handbook September 2022.
