Our Model Governor Code of Conduct for School Governing Boards sets out the expectations and commitment required from school governors, trustees, and local governors/academy committee members for the governing board to properly carry out its work within the school/s and the community.
It can be amended to include specific reference to the ethos of your school or trust. This Code should be tailored to reflect your specific governing board and school structure, whether that is as a maintained school or academy, either as a single school or group of schools.
