The key person approach out of school
Do you know what John Bowlby, sabre-toothed tigers and teddy bears have in common? This training will provide you with an insight into the importance of secure attachments for emotional development and cognitive attainment, helping you develop your key person approach in line with attachment theory.
This half day early years training will support you to:
• explore attachment theory and its impact on child development and wellbeing
• analyse the key person role and how it links with the attachment theory
• reflect on your role as a key person and how it is implemented in your setting.
