Family Involvement Quality Award (FIQA) for primary schools
The Education People is proud to launch the new FIQA Award (linked to Ofsted’s new Education Inspection Framework) which provides primary schools in Kent and beyond, the opportunity to showcase and celebrate the excellent work they are doing to involve families in their children’s learning and take an active role in the life of the school, whilst achieving this unique award.
The FIQA award process requires minimal paperwork, starting with an audit and reflection tool to identify strengths and areas to develop. Previously implemented strategies can be recognised as part of evidence submission provided they are well embedded and continuing. A dedicated mentor will support you through the journey, and your case studies will be shared with the FIQA community through an online library. The award is undertaken over a three year period, with accreditation and a celebration event after each year of either Foundation, Intermediate or Exemplary levels.
In order to access this opportunity to demonstrate to Ofsted, and the wider community your commitment to working closely with families, please email Beverley.firstname.lastname@example.org to express an interest. Spaces are limited so please register your interest by 31st January 2020.
