Children's Right to be Heard
Are you aware of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989)? In this session you will have an opportunity to explore why it is important to listen to every child and the positive impact this can have on their personal, social and emotional development.
This half day early years training will support you to:
• explore the benefits and barriers of listening to the voice of the child
• consider practical strategies to increase children’s participation
• discuss the development of a culture for listening and participation.
