We are searching for an inspiring individual who is highly motivated and passionate to join our fantastic team and pre-school in Southborough.

Requirements of being a Nursery Practitioner at Holden Park Pre-school and After school club:

• NVQ Level 2 or above in relevant childcare and education qualification (or equivalent) or willing to work toward one
• previous nursery or early years’ experience is desirable
• up to date childcare knowledge and training is desirable (although on the job training will be provided)
• be prepared to undertake professional development to continuously improve practice

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expect staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and proof of address + 2 references to be provided.

You will have key worker responsibilities and willing to encourage children's learning and development. You'll build strong relationships with children and parents and carers. We need you to be fun, full of energy, bubbly, engaged, committed and to love children.

Our opening hours are 7.30am -6.00pm Monday to Friday, term time only. We are flexible when it comes to working hours so these can be adjusted according to your needs.

Initial interview may be held in person and successful candidates will then be invited in to visit the nursery for a stay and play session.
