A child’s time in primary education is relatively short – forty-two terms – but full of opportunity. To make the most of each of those terms requires a highly effective team, focusing on the right things. This conference will explore how, as leaders, we can promote, develop, strengthen and sustain highly effective teaching across the primary phase.
Key notes and workshops from national and internationally renowned speakers:
- Haili Hughes: Head of Education at IRIS Connect and Senior Lecturer and Teacher Development Mentor Lead at the University of Sunderland.
- Heather Fearn: Senior HMI: curriculum
- Dr Julian Grenier: Headteacher at Sheringham Nursery School and Director of East London Research School. Adviser to the DfE on 2020 EYFS reforms.
The conference will also be an opportunity to hear from several schools about how they are using different coaching models to refine teaching.
Delegates will take away practical ideas and strategies to be able to use in school straight away.
There will also be opportunities to network with other leaders through the day and a marketplace for browsing.
