Early years SENCo (North)

For practitioners who will undertake the role of setting SENCo. Practitioners should be qualified to Level 3, ideally with post qualifying experience. The course will enable delegates to acquire the skills, knowledge and strategies needed for the SENCo role.

Babies are amazing!

Kent pre-registration course - Childminder (West)

This is a bespoke course written specifically for individuals wishing to become an Ofsted registered childminder in Kent. This is a comprehensive package that, together with separate paediatric first aid training, covers all aspects of setting up and running a successful childminding business.

It is a blended course meaning students benefit from both eLearning and face-to-face tutor facilitated learning. You must be able to complete the eLearning within the stated times, (or additional costs may apply), and attend both face-to-face dates to complete the full course and obtain your certificate needed for your Ofsted registration visit.

Makaton beginners' workshop day 1 and 2

The beginners’ workshop provides a practical introduction to Makaton for workers, parents and carers who need to use Makaton in everyday situations, at work and/or at home. You will learn the signs and symbols for Stages 1-4 of the Core Vocabulary plus the Additional Vocabulary. The course is very practical and interactive.
This is a two day course. Certificates are provided by The Makaton Charity and will be signed by the tutor on completion of each training module.

This two day follow-up workshop is ideal for workers, family members, parents and carers who have already attended the Makaton Beginners’ Workshop. This workshop covers Stages 5-8 of the Makaton Core Vocabulary and helps you to improve and develop your signing and symbol skills. We will review Stages 1-4 but hope that you will have reminded yourselves of the signs and symbols previously learnt on the Beginners’ Workshop.
