The information regarding the Keys 2 Success will be published this month, remember to include this in your monitoring.

The next newsletter will be in September.  For those of you heading off for summer holidays, we hope you all enjoy a  relaxing break!

New Benchmarking Report

As mentioned in last months newsletter the SFS Benchmarking report is now available for schools to purchase.

The cost is £75 and will include 2 x hard copies as well as an electronic version.

If you are interested in obtaining a copy please contact the Help Desk on 03000 415 415 and we will send you the order form.

Replacement Corporate Cards

Any Kent schools that have individuals with a Corporate Card will be automatically provided with a replacement next month.

All current  cards have an expiry date of 30/9/18.

Renewal cards will be sent out during school holidays to the school address.

If you have anyone that is leaving and has a card, they need to be cancelled before the end of July at the latest to stop renewal cards being sent out.

If a renewal card is received after a card is cancelled and SFS have confirmed that RBS have cancelled that card, the school can just destroy the renewal card.

If a renewal card hasn’t been received by mid-September, schools must let us know in case the card has been lost in the post.

The Education People

As you will already be aware, Schools Financial Services will be joining The Education People from 1 September 2018.

Our contact details will be changing and you will all be notified of what these will be in due course.

Hints & Tips

  • There are free E-Learning courses available on CPD Online for financial topics such as Financial Controls, Schools Financial Value Standard (SFVS) and Schools VAT.  Visit CPD Online for further details.
  • If your Capita payroll costings report total doesn't match the bank account deduction, make sure you check the ‘payment analysis form’ provided as well.  
  • The Headteacher handover documents on KELSI have now been amended to meet GDPR requirements.
