Discover exciting Easter activities with Kent's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme!

Spring is here!

As Easter approaches, families across Kent are looking for ways to keep their children engaged, active, and well-nourished during the school holidays. If you’re a family with children aged 4 to 16 who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals, the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme offers a fantastic opportunity to access free activities and healthy meals over the Easter break. Or if you know of any eligible families, please remind them of the HAF Programme for this Easter.

What is the HAF Programme?

The HAF Programme is a government-funded initiative that brings together a range of exciting activities and healthy meals, all at no cost! It's designed for children aged 4 to 16 who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals, so if you’re unsure whether you qualify, don’t worry – simply check using the eligibility tool here.

Running during the Easter break, the HAF Programme initiative provides a range of exciting activities, games, and new experiences, along with a nourishing meal. Children can try sporty or creative activities, make new friends, and families can learn about sourcing high-quality, healthy food affordably. Details of the HAF Programmes are available for various areas, including Ashford, Canterbury, Dartford, Dover, Folkestone & Hythe, Gravesend, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Swale, Thanet, Tonbridge & Malling, and Tunbridge Wells. How to participate

Eligible families will receive HAF Programme e-vouchers through their child's school. These vouchers allow you to book places at the various activities available. If you haven't received a voucher or are unsure about your eligibility, please contact your school's administration or visit the eligibility checker provided by Kent County Council.
