FMS6 Healthcheck

Brief Overview

This half day course is for school-based finance staff whose responsibilities include ensuring that the school’s FMS6 system includes the correct information and is up to date. Ideally staff should be familiar with using FMS6.

This course will include demonstration and practise of the following procedures making, reference to the KCC Financial Controls and the School Model Finance Policy. 

• checking the School’s structure and how to correct any linking errors
• update the Income and expenditure / Reconciliation report where required
• checking that the funding / income on the Statement of Accounts has been processed correctly ohohhalschlachlakh
• checking balances on the control codes including VAT codes.

Delegates will be required to bring along their FMS6 Healthcheck guidance pack which would have been sent to schools purchasing the Core Finance package.  Should you need another copy please contact Schools Financial Services.

School finance staff attending this course are expected to have a good working knowledge of FMS6.
